    Consult

    Includes students with suspected or documented hearing loss, newly identified hearing loss, failed hearing screeners, new referrals/transfer students, 504, etc.

    Itinerant Services

    In addition to Indirect training and support for school staff and families to aid in the progress of the student with hearing loss, these DHH students require Direct sessions with a Certified Teacher of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing.

    Training

    For the IEP or 504 team members, administrators, therapists, related school staff and educators that will be a part of the DHH student’s education and development, including families. Our goal is to aid in the forward progress of quality access and reach equity for students with hearing loss, ensuring they succeed in inclusive school settings and at home.

    Providing expert guidance and advocacy for families navigating ARD, IEP, 504 and IFSP meetings, ensuring that children who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing receive appropriate services, accommodations, and support in Spanish and English.

    Supporting new Teachers of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing by offering practical advice, strategies, and professional guidance to help them succeed in their itinerant roles from Birth to 12th grade and foster student achievement.
